There are two councils at the Bundelkhand Medical College

A. College Council:

Bundelkhand  Medical College has a College Council comprising of the Head of departments as members and Principal/Dean as Chairperson. The Council meets at least four times in a year to draw up the details of curriculum and training programme, enforcement of discipline and other academic matters. The Council also organises inter-departmental meetings like grand rounds, statistical meetings and clinico pathological meetings including periodical research review in the Institution regularly.

B. MEDICAL COUNCIL –

BUNDELKHAND MEDICAL COLLEGE HAS A MEDICAL COUNCIL CELL.
FUNCTION OF MEDICAL COUNCIL -
1. To  IMPLEMENT  THE  M.C.I. RULES IN COLLEGE.
2. FULL FILL THE FACULTY  REQUIREMENT AND DEVELOP THE DIFFERENT

DEPARTMENT AS PER M.C.I.   RULES.
First  incharge of this cell was Dr Mahendra Kumar Bharti . He did all the M.C.I. related work  successfully. Later on one of senior professor  Dr V. M. Agnihorti  became the incharge of  M.C.I. cell. His contribution is worth mentioning. Due to his intelligence power he is known as the brain behind Bundelkhand Medical College.
